The Solar Spot 7 has the ability to reduce the need for fossil fuel energy. Not only does it have the ability to reduce water heater usage of electricity or gas, it could also dry clothes and heat and cool your home or business.

The Solar Spot 7 Installation Steps.
Level the unit – drive tie-down metal stakes thru the metal support base into the ground. Use concrete around tie-down stakes if necessary.

Level the unit – drive tie-down metal stakes thru the metal support base into the ground. Use concrete around tie-down stakes if necessary.

Dig a trench between the house or business and the unit that is deep enough to be below the “frost” line.
Run 4.0″ PVC pipe between the unit and house or business.

Run 3/4″ Red and Blue PEX water lines w/ foam insulation thru the 4.0″ PVC pipe to the house or business.

Do the necessary plumbing to connect the hot and cold water pipes to the hot water heater.
Cut necessary holes either in the floor or wall closest to the hot water heater. Run sufficient wiring from unit thru 4.0″ PVC pipe to the area around the hot water heater. Mount control boxes on the wall close to the hot water heater and connect the wiring as required.
 Turn on the water and check for leaks.
If there are no leaks, fill in the trench as necessary. Set the controller as required and let system warm up.
Show customer how to read the digital gauges and explain how the system works. 
This completes the installation.
